Day 28: Red Cliff Reverie

Today was an exploration of nature's artistry. I spent my day at Cirque Rouge, marveling at the stunning red cliffs that seemed almost surreal against the clear blue sky. The unique geological formations were breathtaking, each layer telling a story of time and change. I walked the trails, feeling the rough texture of the earth under my feet and the sun warming my skin.

The tranquility of the place was broken only by the occasional rustling of leaves and the distant calls of birds. It was a perfect setting for contemplation and sketching. I found a shady spot and pulled out my sketchbook, trying to capture the essence of the cliffs. The play of light and shadow on the jagged surfaces created a mesmerizing pattern that I hope to translate into my next painting.

Meeting the local vendors on the way back added a vibrant touch to my day. Their warmth and friendliness were as striking as the scenery. I bought some local crafts and fresh fruit, feeling connected to this place through its people and their stories.

As the day ended, I felt a sense of fulfillment and inspiration. Mahajanga, with its natural wonders and welcoming spirit, has left an indelible mark on my journey.
