Deer of Nara Park

Location: Nara, Japan

The Deer of Nara Park is a visual expression of my experience in Nara. Meeting the deer in their natural, yet shared space with humans was a profound experience. In this design, I focused on the dynamic nature of the deer and their symbolic representation of Nara. The choice of colors and the fluid form capture the essence of movement and reflect the lively spirit of these animals. I wanted to portray the deer not just as a tourist attraction, but as an integral part of Nara's culture and environment. This design is an amalgamation of my observations and interactions in the park, where the deer roam freely and confidently. It's a tribute to the harmony between nature and urban life in Nara, a coexistence that I found both fascinating and inspiring.
