56 days: Feather on Water

Today I decided to spend a few quiet hours on Phewa Lake, enjoying a boat ride in the warm sunshine. As I stepped into the small wooden boat, I felt a sense of calm wash over me. The lake was serene, its surface gently rippling in the gentle breeze, and the distant peaks of the Annapurna range reflected perfectly in the clear water.

Rowing slowly, I made my way to the center of the lake, where the sounds of the city faded into the background. The silence was broken only by the occasional bird call and the rhythmic splash of the oar cutting through the water. I took a moment to pause, letting the boat drift while I admired the reflection of the snow-capped mountains, so vivid and alive.

For a while, I closed my eyes and simply breathed in the cool, crisp air, feeling deeply connected to the beauty around me. When I finally returned to shore, I felt refreshed and inspired, my mind already filled with ideas for my next piece. There is something magical about this place, a sense of balance and tranquility that I hope to capture in my art.
