Floating Market Fiesta

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

In 'Floating Market Fiesta' I wanted to capture the vibrant essence of Bangkok's floating markets. These markets are not only centers of commerce, but also vibrant hubs of community and culture. My goal was to convey the bustling activity and diversity found in these floating bazaars. The design uses bright, vibrant colors to depict the array of goods - from fresh fruits and vegetables to vibrant flowers - that define these markets. The boats, each brimming with produce, symbolize the abundance and rich sensory experiences of Bangkok. The flowing lines, representing water, reflect the constant movement and fluid nature of life along the canals. This work is a tribute to the unique way of life on Bangkok's waterways, and how traditional practices continue to shape and color modern urban life.
