Second Journey Day 103: Magnus Rasmussen
Today, I met Magnus Rasmussen, a Danish poet known for his nature-inspired poetry. Magnus is in his late fifties. He told me about his travels through the Nordic landscapes that inspire his poetry. His words painted pictures of icy fjords and green valleys. We talked about how art can affect each other, and he read a poem that matched the peaceful setting. I sketched what he described, planning to make watercolor paintings. Magnus’s love for Nordic nature inspired me to paint Denmark’s emotional landscape. The weather was perfect for our conversation about nature. This meeting not only taught me more about Danish culture but also made me appreciate Copenhagen more.
