Day 147: Worn Scrolls

Today was a day of quiet discovery as I visited Ljubljana Castle. The cool, light rain lent a reflective mood to the historic setting, enhancing the experience. I wandered through ancient corridors and climbed the tower, where I was greeted by panoramic views of the city below. The castle's ancient stone walls, intricate carvings, and secluded courtyards offered a vivid glimpse into Ljubljana's storied past. I spent several moments sketching details that caught my eye, from the texture of the masonry to the play of shadow and light on the ramparts. The journey through the castle was both educational and inspiring, allowing me to connect with the cultural heritage of this charming city. Despite the occasional drizzle, the weather remained mild and the ambiance inside the castle was warm and welcoming. Today's visit left me with fresh ideas and a renewed sense of purpose for my next piece of art.
