67 days: Leaf’s Journey
Share
Today I decided to take a leisurely stroll through Heritage Park. It was a warm day with the sun shining brightly, casting soft shadows under the trees. The park was filled with a variety of sculptures and displays that highlighted the diverse culture of Tripura. I was fascinated by the small models of traditional houses, each so meticulously crafted, reflecting the simplicity of village life.
There was a section dedicated to the local flora, with small plaques explaining the meaning of each plant. I noticed a few families enjoying a picnic in the shade, their laughter blending with the gentle rustling of leaves in the breeze. I sat for a while on a bench near a small pond, sketching the reflections on the water's surface, capturing the interplay of light and shadow.
The tranquility of the park provided a peaceful pause in my journey, a moment to simply breathe and observe. I left feeling light, content to have found a pocket of calm in the midst of exploration. Tomorrow a new place awaits, but for today this park was enough.
