Fourth Journey Day 174: Cultural Medallion

Today I visited the National Museum in New Delhi, taking refuge from the intense heat outside in its cool, air-conditioned galleries. I spent several hours examining exhibits that showcase India's rich cultural heritage, from ancient sculptures and intricate textiles to detailed Mughal art and traditional handicrafts. The museum's diverse collection provided me with a vivid narrative of the country's historical and artistic development, which I documented in my notebook with quick sketches and notes. The experience was both enlightening and creatively stimulating, reinforcing my appreciation for the enduring legacy of art in this region. After the museum visit, I enjoyed a quiet lunch at a nearby restaurant, reflecting on the connections between past and present that I had observed in the artifacts. It was a day that balanced learning with inspiration, leaving me with renewed energy for my upcoming projects.
