Day 24: Garden of Breathing Colors
Share
Today was spent in the tranquility of Pico Bonito's butterfly garden. The warm air carried a gentle breeze, creating a serene space as I wandered among the fluttering wings. The butterflies were almost surreal - delicate creatures in striking colors, moving with a rhythm that seemed to blend with the breeze itself. It was like walking into a living painting, one that whispered of a beauty that didn't have to be loud to be noticed.
As I watched the butterflies alight on the blossoms, each one seemingly absorbed in its own purpose, I felt drawn into their world. There was an undeniable sense of calm as I watched them up close, seeing the details in their wings, the tiny markings that look almost like nature's own calligraphy.
The afternoon passed in quiet peace. I stayed long enough to watch the sunlight filter through the trees, casting dappled shadows on the ground, the garden itself alive with soft, shifting hues. It felt like the day was inviting me to pause, to appreciate simplicity in motion. As I left, I carried that stillness with me, feeling more grounded on this journey.
