Day 81: Sunset in Motion
Share
Today I ventured to Casapueblo, a place where art meets architecture and the sea. The gleaming white curves of the building seemed to blend seamlessly with the cliffs, as if it had grown out of the earth itself. Inside, the vibrant works of Carlos Páez Vilaró told stories of love, struggle and humanity. His colors danced with the sunlight streaming through the windows, and I felt connected to his energy and passion for life.
The view from the terrace was breathtaking - a vast expanse of deep blue stretching endlessly to the horizon. I stood there for a long time, feeling the wind in my hair and listening to the gentle crash of the waves below. The ocean always seems to whisper something profound, and today it carried a sense of calm and clarity.
I took time to sketch a corner of Casapueblo, capturing the play of light and shadow on its undulating walls. The simplicity of the lines was in stark contrast to the complexity of the emotions I felt in this space.
As the day drew to a close, the setting sun transformed the sky into a canvas of fiery hues. Casapueblo seemed to glow in response, as if it were part of the sunset itself. I left with a heart full of inspiration and a sketchbook yearning for more.
