Day 34: Tile and Leaf Alchemy

The day began with a visit to Fusterlandia, and what an explosion of color it was. The entire neighborhood felt like an artist's dream, with every wall, staircase and surface covered in vibrant mosaics. The whimsical designs, bold colors, and whimsical patterns spoke of endless creativity and joy.

As I wandered through the maze of tiles, I couldn't resist sketching small details - a fish motif here, a swirling sunburst there. Children ran around laughing, and the locals greeted visitors warmly, their pride in their neighborhood evident. It was inspiring to see one artist's vision transform an entire community into a living canvas.

Later, I paused in a quiet corner of the neighborhood where a tiled bench under a leafy tree offered a perfect place to rest. The light filtering through the leaves cast shifting patterns on the mosaic below, reminding me of the harmony between art and nature.

Havana's energy feels vibrant yet serene, and today was a perfect balance of activity and reflection. As the sun began to set, I returned to my room with a notebook full of sketches and a mind full of ideas.
