43 days: Emerald Stillness
Partager
Today was a day of quiet exploration. I hiked up to Dziani Dzaha, a crater lake that seemed almost otherworldly with its striking green water. The hike was easy, but the scenery was captivating. The view from the top, looking down at the emerald waters surrounded by lush vegetation, was a moment of pure serenity. I found a spot on the edge to sit and sketch, capturing the contrasts of the scene-the vibrant green against the deep blue of the sky, the rough textures of the volcanic rock and the smooth surface of the lake.
There was a sense of serenity in the air, broken only by the occasional rustling of leaves. I felt connected to the earth, grounded by the ancient energy of this place. The simplicity of the day, the focus on simply being present in nature, was exactly what I needed. My sketch became a reflection of that stillness, a blend of lines and shapes that reflected the peace I felt within. As I made my way back, the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the landscape and adding a golden touch to the end of a peaceful day.
