Day 10: Threads of Blooming Light

Today I walked through the Plaza de las Flores. The air was filled with the scent of fresh flowers, and every corner of the market seemed to be bursting with color - roses, lilies, and wildflowers arranged in bundles and bouquets.

I walked slowly, taking in the atmosphere. The flower vendors were busy arranging their displays, each one a small masterpiece of color and texture. I stopped at one stall and admired the delicate orchids woven into small, hand-tied arrangements. The vendor smiled and handed me a single rose, a quiet gesture that felt grounding in the midst of the market's vibrancy.

I found a bench nearby and began to sketch the scene-the stalls, the flowers, and the people weaving among them. The bells of the nearby cathedral tolled softly, blending with the sounds of conversation and footsteps on the cobblestones.

The day felt like a quiet celebration, a reminder of life's simple, beautiful moments. As the sun set, the market slowly began to close, leaving the plaza with the lingering scent of flowers. A perfect end to a gentle day in Cuenca.
