Day 18: Crafted Histories

Today was a day of cultural immersion and historical exploration. The weather in Gitega was warm and inviting, with the sun shining brightly and a gentle breeze adding a touch of comfort. I decided to spend my day at the Gitega National Museum, eager to learn more about Burundi's rich heritage.

The museum, with its impressive collection of artifacts, provided a deep insight into the country's history and culture. As I walked through the exhibits, I was particularly drawn to the traditional crafts and ceremonial items. The intricate designs and vibrant colors of the artifacts spoke volumes about the craftsmanship and artistic expression of the Burundian people.
