Day 20: Veils of Granada

Today was a calm day in Granada. I started with a quiet morning walk, letting the colors and architecture of the city settle in my mind. The highlight was my visit to the Convent and Museum of San Francisco. It's a place where history feels alive, with each room revealing more of Granada's history. Ancient stone sculptures, each worn yet dignified, lined the walls, telling silent tales of past civilizations. I spent some time studying the colonial paintings, admiring the detail and skill that went into each piece.

The afternoon sun cast a warm glow through the vaulted corridors of the convent, enhancing the serene atmosphere. It felt grounding, a chance to slow down and just absorb. Back outside, I took a seat in Parque Colón, watching the vendors and musicians bring energy to the center of town. Tomorrow, I think I'll take a boat tour on Lake Nicaragua. For now, I'm grateful for today's pause in the midst of this vibrant journey.
